BURRATA SALAD
1 nice big burrata
Honey
Basil
Pepitas
Cherries, nectarines
1 dried fig
Balsamic fig glaze
Salt
1. Cut the fruit into little pieces
2. Warm the fruit in a pan. You may want to add a little water to the fig.
3. Mix the honey with water and salt, then add balsamic glaze to taste.
4. Toast pepitas on 160 degrees Celsius until lightly brown.
5. Assemble fruit, pepitas, basil leaves and dressing. Gently place the drained Burrata in the middle.
6. VoilĂ , dessert for dinner!
Use dill and parsley as well. I didn't have any on hand. Dill adds a refreshing touch to this dish that keeps me coming back for more.
Burrata should be served at room temperature to optimise taste.
